Swim

Swim sessions take place at the U of C pool located in the kinesiology wing. Please bring swimsuit, goggles, swim cap and towel.    


Bike

An unstructured social Saturday ride will leave from Westhill's Shopping Centre Second Cup on the Western edge of town at 10:00 am. We will ride to Bragg Creek with the option of riding further and back. Coaching is not guaranteed. You must be self sufficient with the tools and knowledge to fix your own flat tires. Approximate distance to Bragg and back is 75km. Average time to complete is 3 hours. Individual groups will form according to pace. Mountain bikes are definitely not recommended !  Questions about this ride ? Email Tony.

Cruisy Mondays will offer a relaxed social group recovery ride. The perfect spin after a big weekend of training or racing. We will meet at the Zoo's NORTH parking lot and alternate weeks between using bike pathways West to Chestermere Lake or South to Fish Creek Park and back. Mountain bikes not recommended.


Wicked Wednesdays are reserved for an intense coached brick (bike and run) workout at Edworthy Park. We will ride hill repeats then run immediately off the bike along the bow river pathways and trails. You may arrive any time between 6 - 8pm for this workout. Transition bike racks are provided. Mountain bikes welcome.

Core

We offer an optional, well structured and progressive coached core program on the pool deck during the last 15 minutes of every swim practice. This very popular workout will stregthen and tone the mid section providing core stability to improve your performance in the swim, bike and run. This program will also promote excellent lower back fitness and therefore help prevent injury. Your participation is highly recommended.
